Unconditional Love
Unconditional Love, I had only seen it in movies and novels so I'm quiet familiar with the concept of it until yesterday when i saw it with my own eyes right in front of me and the seen moved me to tears.
I first saw them 3 days ago in afternoon when i went to my village in car to bring back my parents to where i live after the lockdown for Corona have been eased. In front of the Chikhli Bus Station, An old lady was crossing the road by grabbing a hand of his son for support, his son's age was around 35-40, mentally unstable, was wearing a half torn shirt and half pent. The seen didn't click in my mind as much because i was in hurry to meet my parents after almost 3months and also i have seen many beggars around Bus station and Railway Station begging with Fake conditions/ story of hunger for days and give them money only to see them few minutes later spending those money for buying tobacco products.
Yesterday while i was coming back to the city my father asked me to stop at Chikhli Bus Station because it have fresh coconuts. So i stopped the car opposite to bus station at the coconut seller. My father and mother went to buy coconuts while i waited in the car, at that moment i saw that old lady again which directly reminded me that i saw here while i was going to the village and also the seen of passing the road with his son flashed in my mind. And after that i stated observing her.
She was sitting roughly 15-20 feet away from my car on the side of the road with his son who was sitting behind her leaning on her back looking at torn parts of his shirt or watching everything happening around him. Many passerby would look at him blankly, some would show pity and some would smile. His face keep changing emotions as he looked everyone in the eye and try to figure out whether they are making fun of him or not. Some times he would start collecting garbage from where they were sitting and throw them away from them. whenever he goes further away she would look behind like constantly worrying about him. At that time my focus diverted to her.

She was really old and needed help of her son to walk as i recall the flashback of her crossing road previously. She was sitting there with little hope in her eyes as if they don't have much life left in their eyes. She was sitting with both hands joined and had a small dish with picture of god in it and looking at every passer by with those joined hands.
At that seen i thought of my grandmother who just recently passed away and she needed help with moving around the house and needed lots of medicines. This old lady was definitely around that age but she was taking care of her son even at this age and in those conditions. Her son wasn't able to do much but she still try to take care of him even at this age while she even needed help to move around.
I thought how did she pass these two and half month of lockdown when she wasn't able to beg and feed his son. At a time while a normal labor was having hard time feeding his family, how hard was these past few weeks for her. And how long will she be able to take care of her son.

She have hardships but still try to take care of her own without expecting anythings. Just keep on trying to protect her own as a shield and keep on doing until her body doesn't breakdown. Without any expectation.
To everyone her son looks like burden on her, but to her he's everything to live for
A truely Unconditional Love, Just him being next to her is everything for her.
P.S. : After watching them i understand how much parents love their children. Even though i know they love me i never imagine how deep and unconditional this love can be, and make me feel kind of special that i know at least 2 people who loves me unconditionally.
